Our latest visit to Florence for Pitti Uomo prompted us to reflect on our very own history with perhaps the most important gathering of brands, specifically menswear, in the world. Gran Sasso has been involved in proceedings at Fortezza da Basso since the very beginning, back in 1972 and the combination of creativity and business is of course at the soul of every fashion company.
This time around we calculated that more than 1400 people visited our stand and we heard countless times that we were, yet again, one of the busiest at the show, which is fantastic for every single one of the team here.
Pitti Uomo is special. We hear it all the time and of course, many of us experience lots of different trade shows globally, which all have their lure for different reasons. However, Pitti has a vibe and a buzz that is indescribable unless you have visited.
At Gran Sasso, we particularly enjoy the opportunity to meet so many different people from different backgrounds that all share that common interest and often we start long-term meaningful relationships from the platform. We thrive on our heritage and welcome everybody with a smile and of course, the very best in quality knitwear!
So we move on and already our style office is working on the next chapter and we promise to see wonderful things!
