Attention to detail, the enhancement of artisanal know-how, and the transmission of manufacturing tradition have always been fundamental elements for Maglificio Gran Sasso.
With this in mind, from January to March 2026, a course dedicated to the repair and hand mending of knitted panels and garments was organized, with the aim of passing on valuable skills and contributing to the preservation of the technical heritage at the core of our company.

The initiative was born from the collaboration between Maglificio Gran Sasso, NAMI – Nuova Accademia Moda Italiana – and the Randstad Italia branch in Mosciano Sant’Angelo (TE), organizations united by their commitment to training and the development of professional skills in the fashion sector.
The course offered a focused training program on manual mending and repair techniques for knitwear—highly specialized skills that enable precise intervention on panels and finished garments to restore their quality and aesthetic integrity. Through practical exercises and discussions with industry professionals, participants acquired the expertise needed to work carefully on garments and panels, restoring their aesthetic and functional continuity.
This initiative continues a series of activities promoted over recent months and years, aimed at strengthening the company’s connection with its local area and with schools and universities. This commitment stems from the desire to support generational transition and to pass on the artisanal knowledge that has always been at the heart of Maglificio Gran Sasso’s identity.

For Maglificio Gran Sasso, initiatives like this demonstrate a constant commitment to sharing artisanal know-how and training new professionals. Investing in skills not only preserves valuable techniques but also contributes to the growth of a production chain rooted in quality and attention to detail.
In this sense, training becomes a key tool for keeping the tradition of Italian knitwear alive, while looking to the future with the awareness that innovation and craftsmanship must go hand in hand.
